Hartford Hospital is committed to graduate medical education and sponsors Residency and Fellowship programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), American Board of Gynecology (ABOG), and Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) to prepare physicians for certification by a specialty board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties and American Dental Association. As of 2025, Hartford Hospital sponsors 20 GME programs, 10 of which are ACGME-accredited. We also have a major affiliation with the University of Connecticut Health Center.
